We ordered a few items to pick up for a weekday dinner. The jerk chicken was excellent: fragrant, tender, smoky, and packed with flavors. There's a surcharge on all items if you order through the website so I would just order in person if you don't mind waiting a little bit.

One of those meals I feel like I should have paid more for the given quality and amount. My friend and I split a half Jerk chicken over rice & beans, potato salad and plantains. Jerk chicken was impressively moist, appropriately salty and well seasoned; the runny jerk sauce on the side provided some extra kick; the skin charred black from the grill. Rice & peas were soft and equally flavorful. Conch fritters' mix was tasty and fried well without dripping in grease although a few had possibly overcooked, rubbery conch bits. Otherwise it was a good batter. My friend from Chicago has been coming for years and you can tell from the decor and space. They have some beautiful black & white photographs worthy of a gallery show. No vibe is the vibe—a good sign. This place is a gem.

I ordered the king fish with cabbage and plantains 2 weeks ago. Everything was seasoned well. Not salty at all. And I had the caramel cake for dessert. Yes yes and yes. You all will see me again. Great service also.

Best grill chicken in town, a special recipe from Belize “Jerk Chicken” has an amazing blend of spices. The sides compliment the chicken. Even though the restaurant is not fancy but the quality of food and taste makes you forget where you are. They have a take out option and you can easily warm it up for the same taste as its served fresh at the restaurant
